Helping you survive Bus Depot, the hardest map!

Introduction

Howdy guys,

First off I'd like to wish you all the best in this new, zombie slaying, 2013!

I have been posting stuff on CoDz for a little while now (after being a long time lurker :3), and came to the conclusion I never really had a major post contributing to the site. So here I am, hopefully contributing to all of you guys!

So I wondered about what to contribute to the site, unfortunately couldn't come up with anything.

I then decided to play a game of zombies to maybe just come up with something, and little did I know, after a game of survival on bus depot, It finally came up in my mind that I had never seen a decent Bus Depot survival guide on the forum! So I started searching this topic, and I was right, I couldn't find any post regarding Bus Depot survival.

With that set I decided writing down this tactic, hoping that it will guide you to that record you wanted to beat by a long time and impress all of your friends!

Note that this is only here to help you, it's not the only way to play, it's just the way I play it, and I am in no way telling you what to do. It's here for you to use in whatever way you like it, and if you use it in it's entirety I encourage you to adapt it to your own play-style to get the best out of it! Feel free to post a reply with tips for me as well, as in no way I know all about this map, and I am sure you have something to contribute as well!

The Starting Room/The Inner Depot

As soon as you start it's all very quiet and peaceful, take that opportunity to gather some points! It's safe for the first few rounds in there so don't worry!

You are gonna be gathering as much points as you can by shooting 6 bullets in the lower body and then knifing the zombies, do this for the first 2 rounds, after this you want to leave the starting room by opening the door for 750 points.

Leave this room before entering round 3, otherwise there will be an earthquake causing a lava flow to appear. This lava flow might not sound as an issue, but without juggernog the

explosions of fire zombies in the higher rounds are [bold]extremely dangerous[/bold], causing you to slow down, take damage and get disorientated! Do not return to this room anymore from now on as it will cause the earthquake to still appear.

The Outer Depot

This is where it get's chaotic, it's small, there's a lot of tiny passages and dangerous corners, take care! Considering this, it's great to get an SMG/Pistol/Shotgun (you run faster = higher chance of getting out of those sticky situations), now I recommend getting the MP5 from near the garage door, however, you can try getting a pistol or SMG from the box (I don't recommend shotguns, since the Remmington and the M1216 are utter shit...).

With the MP5 (or whatever weapon you chose to roll with) you should be safe for a while, however you should start to think about the higher rounds. The key factor in high rounds is a decent train route, I suggest going around the clock on this map, use the entire map to your likings in order to find the route that helps you! For me it's just lapping around the map.

Another thing to help you on this map will be a Ray Gun, I usually don't like using the Ray Gun, but it's very useful on this map for clearing the path in front of you while training. Since you have nothing else to spend your money on other than MP5 ammo, why not use your points to use the box, try getting the Ray Gun when possible, it will help a lot!

Be careful: the Ray Gun will create crawlers, if you don't watch out they might get you trapped!

That's It

I hope you enjoyed these tips, sorry if I made any grammar errors, for you see, I am dutch :D

I'd love to hear your comments about this, and I hope to have helped the community a bit with this!

Cya next time, if you have any requests for me, tell me and I'll make a post about it!
