I was reading the comments on charlieintel http://www.charlieintel.com/2013/01/07/amazon-uk-reveals-details-on-dlc-revolution-and-map-descriptions/ about the new DLC and it being in china and everything when I came across the following comment:

"...a dilapidated and dangerous MC Escher painting." wtf.... I've been doing a little wiki research, and M.C Escher is the guy who invented those 'impossible structures' (like those triangles that seem to climbing up), and some other stuff. Interestingly, one of his works is a woodcut with the title "Tower of Babel". aka the name of the green run easter egg. The picture shows the tower from a top down perspecitve. Escher quotes: "Seeing as the climax of the drama takes place at the summit of the tower which is under construction, the building has been shown from above as though from a bird's eye view."

With that in mind, Die Rise- at least part of it takes place downtown in some Chinese city. From the leaked artwork, we know that there will be some tall buildings (probably a high rise- hence the name die rise.). If I had to take a guess, the top of one of these buildings is probably heavily related to the Die Rise easter egg.

Yeah, I'm exited :)

This was posted by someone named Max. I found this very interesting since 3arc usually gives us clue in the trailers and things. So I thought maybe this reference was relevant to the EE.

Excerpt - http://www.orthodox.cn/localchurch/200406ancientcnhist_en.htm

The Great Flood occurred, according to the Biblical reckoning, in approximately 2348 B.C. It was a global Flood which wiped out the entire earth and all human beings except for Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives (8 people in all).

Only 101 years after the Flood, evil abounded again; and therefore, as the Bible tells us, “the earth was divided.” This occurred at the Tower of Babel, when God confounded the languages, and people began to be scattered about the earth.

The Tower of Babel incident occurred at about 2247 B. C .

And it is soon after this point that Chinese history begins.

The original people of China were undoubtedly a group of people (of unknown number) who traveled to China from Babel. It is probable that most of the people living in China today have descended from this original group.

Many Christians who have looked into this question have suggested that, in the Genesis “table of nations” chronicling the language groups migrating from Babel, the “Sinite people” (Genesis 10: 17) could refer to the group that became the Asian people.

These are some interesting pages about ToB & Chinese language

According to wiki It depicts the Babylonians attempting to build a tower to reach God.

So maybe God could represent the original characters and that the Tranzit characters are trying to reach or get in contact with the original characters on moon at the top of the one of the high rises.

Just a guess.

Think about what your saying man ha. The "tower of babel" is a metaphor for reaching out to god. Richtofen is often described or self described as an "omnipotent being". A GOD. The original crew of characters got off of moon via teleporter.

We can assume this because we have the option of still leaving after the earth is destroyed. therefore we have to assume that they can and did leave afterwards.

There are arguments raging on this topic but its true. no matter how u look at it or how the devs intended you have to accept that in moon we can leave after EE back to earth and MUST assume that they DID. So they arent on the moon any more. If they were its been decades. what are they eating? how are they living on the moon? it doesnt add up. I know not everything in this game adds up but that would be a gaping plot hole that cannot be filled.

Your theory would be better served assuming we are trying to reach the NPD symbolizing our "tower of babel" and reaching our God.
