Are you saying distance-wise, or by means of penetration? I love using the DSR, and it seems to penetrate pretty heavily. The accuracy when holding your breath is awful, though.

Agree, DSR is one of my favo top3 guns.

Aiming for the body without PaP and PaP'd with Iron Sight headshot go like crazy.

But as you say, 'real aiming' isn't that accurate. I kinda do like quick-scope I guess, can't really quickscope (still proud) but it makes it a little more accurate.

Iron sights are quite nice.

I've found if you are shooting down range and zombies aren't running directly at you, you need to lead them by quite a bit to be accurate.

There was a patch in attempt to fix quickscoping once again. Sadly this affected the DSR / Barrett 50 in zombies also. ITs not that bad, but still its annoying missing one out of every 8 shots.... i used to get +1000 and +800 all the time, but after the patch its a little harder to be consistent.

They never made any patch to "fix" quickscoping. Where you got that idea is beyond me. Holding your breath with the snipers in zombies has been terrible since day 1.

Idea? no... an employee from treyarch told me this....

Slightly off topic, but have you also noticed that some other guns(mtar and type 25 come to mind) seem to be horribly inaccurate when aiming down the sights. You can stand 6 inches from a wall and ADS with the mtar and somehow like only 1/5 bullets actually hit inside the circle on the sight. I am not sure if this is a bug or what but it needs to be fixed.

The MTAR and Type 25 WHERE inaccurate as hell yes. but with the new patch after die rise dlc they have reduced the hip fire spread for both of these wepons. the type 25 is actually fun to use now.
