Call of the Dead in another dimension/ Turned gamemode

I think that a lot of people have forgotten about the most important wonder weapon of them all. No, not the ray gun or even the Wunderwaff. I'm talking about the V-R11. This weapon is essentially the cure to the zombie virus. On a large scale, this weapon could stop the zombies. Now, in my title the reason why I said Call of the Dead is in an other dimension is that, everything is going fine as a simple movie being shot, but then the zombies come. Samantha, being a soul trapped somewhere between earth and hell, could travel between dimensions and spawn zombies. You must be asking, but why would Samantha spawn zombies in another dimension. Well don't forget, even though you don't play as them, our four heroes return as a voice between a thick metal door with a teleporter. I think that the four going through the teleporter, traveled into a new dimension making Samantha spawn zombies there.

Theory 2: My second theory (although I did not come up with it) is that Call of the Dead is in the future, and the four traveled into the future where Samantha spawned zombies there. But, once again, the movie actors were simply shooting a movie, when all of a sudden zombies come out of nowhere, and you have this wonder weapon that can turn zombies back into humans. Maybe in the future, the V-R11 is created and the zombies adefeated. Now onto the new gamemode, "Turned". I'm thinking that before the V-R11 was create Maybe they had some prototypes that didn't work right, and did the opposite of what they wanted it to do. Maybe our new cast finds the gun, and in order to follow Richtofen's orders, they must become a zombie who are under Richtofen's control.

let me know what you think!

Samantha is in another dimension, the Aether. Btw, thank you for being one of the few people to spell V-R11 correctly. I think Call of the Dead is in another dimension. However, at the same time I believe your first theory is incorrect but the second is correct.

I think it is another dimension of time rather than space. What I mean by this is that they time traveled to the future and did stuff blah blah blah. But then time was changed, making the timeline branch off into another dimension. The V-R11 was most likely a 935 invention, since the location of Call of the Dead dates back to WWII. Although it was apparently inhabited briefly by the Soviets.

As for Turned, I don't know what to tell you. I don't like to speculate on things that are going to be released in a matter of days. However, I can tell you that I am really questioning how seriously we can take Turned when it comes to the storyline. So many aspects of the game are changed to the point of, is it really canon?

Are we really looking for story from turned? i understand that the zombies story is found in tidbits across all game modes, but turned seems more like a party game to give players that instant gratification that they dont get in tranzit or survival. just my thaughts otherwise i agree.

We already got story aspects though haha. Only minor but still. We know they can see humans through walls, and that's how they always know where we are. I assume the 115 gave them that.

Thats kinda waht i was gettin at. We know pretty much whats happening, I dont feel Turned mode needs its own story or description to make sense. The zombies can see through walls because it is an "omnipotent" being that is controlling their actions. These people are dead and their brains arent working on a conscious level. Richtofen is acting as the puppeteer and simply directs them toward us.

My question is... Why is Richtofen trying to kill us? I mean I know all the story and all that but it doesn't QUITE add up for me. He is a psychopath I know but usually there is a reason that certain ppl are being hunted and killed. Samantha wanted revenge on 935. What have our characters done to piss of Richtofen? Maybe I am reading too much into it.

I really don't know actually. He tries to kill them but wants them to help him. Yeahhhhhh...

Maybe he sees it as motivation for them. If he didn't send zombies after them, they probably wouldn't comply with him, or Maxis even.

For CDC and CIA, I hope it's explained. Right now, I see it as Richtofen playing a game with them, or because of their past knowledge of Zombies. Or the fact that they were sent their to investigate it, so it's obviously bad for him.

For Turned. Not sure we can consider the whole thing canon. We will see though.

The question also applies to Samantha. Right now, she had no reason to attack the CDC and CIA at Nuketown. It might've been because of how close they were to Area 51. That they would've returned there to help the O4 or something. And that can also apply to when Richtofen becomes it.

The only aspect that I can think that makes the most sense, is that when we kill zombies they get stronger. Also Richtofen's/Samantha's power gets stronger. I can see that Richtofen would turn survival into a game for himself which is "grief" but samantha has no motivation for it... unless she is just training humans on earth to strengthen her final attacks towards O4 on moon before they can stop her reign of power... Maybe we will find out.

By training humans I mean gather a group that can massacre hoardes to feed her more power and souls.
