easter egg step?

So while messing about after finding the focusing stone and the vril generator i started to look on the floor and tryong to match up mahjong tiles when i noted the symbols on the floor and cant help thinking they are important. Im not talking about the lions or zombie symbols the ones i mean are the Good luck/good fortune ones. They seem to glitch occassionally which brings me to believe they are needed.

When you buy the sniper rifle (SVU-AS), Maxis always talks to me. But I just can't hear him well because the voice came from all the way back upstairs... This sniper is needed for the Easter Egg somehow. Try it out yourself!

Alright so this is what he says after buying the sniper off the wall "You will need a weapon to hold in trough time. Make sure it will guard your life" Or something like that. It seems you will need two players for this Easter Egg once again because you can only hear Maxis around those two computers at Spawn.
