Is the previous easter egg(i.e. tranzit) needed in order to complete the Die Rise easter egg...tried doing it several times and couldnt even get the panels to illuminate on the first step...

No it's not. Did you build that NAV table in Die Rise? That's a prerequesite.

is that actually confirmed? that's actually something interesting of note seeing as in Tranzit it wasn't needed, do you know if someone in the lobby has had to have inserted the Tranzit nav card as well?

The nav card I believe is a preq...just did another go and right after we built the nav card reader with already having put the nav card in it alowed us to start the easter egg...
