Is Stullingher turning into a zombie?

In the cinematic intro to Die Rise, Stullingher can hear the wierd noises. In this intro he mentions something about the flesh, meaning he either killed a human or a zombie. I think he ate a zombie. As he ate the zombie, he is starting to turn into one, so he can hear the noises. He also makes zombie like groans throughout the map. What do you think?

This topic will answer any and all your questions regarding The Flesh cult and how Stuhlinger could be involved in it. :)

But briefly, it's possible that he may be turning into a zombie. Eating zombie flesh has taken its toll on the consumers, and those who eat the flesh obtain side-effects such as schizophrenia, paranoia, and so on. The voices he hears in his head could be of two reasons:

- he is turning into a zombie with the 115 infecting his mind and body

- the dark entity that resides in the MPD are contacting through him (the same voices in which Richtofen claims to hear before coming into power)

Yeah, I agree. Maybe because he consumed 115 from that zombie the entity in the MDP can communicate with him. Maybe its Richtofen thats in the MDP because he switched places with Samantha?

While Richtofen does reside in the MPD at the moment, there is a darker force within. Samantha's quote on Moon tells us that another being or power lurks inside the mechanism, and is more powerful/sinister than we can imagine. This power could be the same one that told Richtofen what to do in order to breach into the Aether. Theoretically, you could say that he is being used as a puppet for them.

The voices Stuhlinger hears are darker than Richtofen's voice in Die Rise, and sounds as if there are more than one [beings] making the noises. I noticed that they become more defined when there are zombies around, and you can distinguish between zombie moans and these...eerie sounds.
