Running fast and knifing fast with the trample steam

So a lot of people know that if you pull out the trample steam, you can knife insanely fast (i believe even faster than w/ ballistic knifes) and you can also run twice as fast.

But treyarch thinks this is a glitch, and will punish you for doing so. Treyarch has added a new system where if they see you do some glitch that they know of they either auto kill you (mostly happens if you get out of the map) or they take away your guns and you hear Richthofen laughing.

I was using this trample steam trick/glitch for one of the first times on the boss round and was trying to knife the denizen thing-a-mobbers when all of a sudden the trample steam broke in my hands and I heard richtofen laughing(but I did not lose anything else). I have been trying to get repeat the situation but never seem to think of it during the denizen round. It doesn't seem to break on you if your just running with it, but it did break the one time I was trying to knife with it.

It may be connected to how claymores are lost. That happens afaik when zombies hit it, therefore you loose it when knifing, but not when running.

It's not Treyarch frowning upon glitchers. Richtofen has always laughed when a zombie destroys something you are holding in front of you. It's been this way since the game came out with all the buildables in tranzit.

But if you are losing perks and weapons due to it, then that's not just the regular system avoiding a glitch. It's Treyarch punishing you for attempting something that would unfairly benefit your player. The same applies to doing the Buddha Room glitch.

Nice video Tom, I hadn't realized getting to town could be so easy without Jug. I'll start using that. Also I didn't know about the lagless knifing with weapons like the M14. Good stuff!

Thx for the info guys. I never knew that richtofen laughed when something was destroyed in your hands because it was one of the first times it happened to me because I never tried doing it earlier. And I have no idea why you the link was screwed up. And I didn't check at all last night because I posted it and had to leave as minutes later. And getting through the lava by town is possible even without using the turbine, I just like using the teleporters because its faster, or I might spawn by power and I can go ahead and put power on. All lava spots can be jumped across, the one between diner and the town shortcut can be accessed by jumping on the right side. Galva knuckles help but are not needed if you time it right.

And the thing with a fire denizen being on your head doesn't actually damage you when it explodes. Treyarch made it where it hurts you but its a different type of damage, or insufficient to kill you. Its just like if you are beat red and run across a lava CRACK and don't stand on it, it will just reset the health regeneration timer back to 5 seconds but won't kill you even though you are beat red. If you do stand on it or just wall past a lava pool, then yes you will die.
