This is Black ops 2 Zombies...NOT Black ops 1.5 Zombies...

Really the only problem I have is why they didn't re-skin the Ballistic Knife. The new MP vesion is soooo much cooler looking.

That's mainly what I'm simply curious about, I don't wish they would put EVERY single BO2 gun in zombies(though that would be boss) or that they shouldve done more per say...I simply wish the guns that made an appearance in BO1 and then made a retunr appearence in BO2 but with a new iteration(not just simply re-textured but re-designed as well) weren changed to the newer version for zombies...

I do have to agree they were pretty lazy with the Ballistic Knife. You can't dual-wield it with other melee weapons in Black Ops II. :(

Are you talking about the Galvaknuckles with Ballistic Knife? I'm pretty sure that's because the player holds the knuckles in their right hand, the same hand that the Ballistic Knife is held, as opposed to the left hand when using the Bowie Knife and Sickle. Sure, they could have swapped the hands for the knuckles, but that would require new animations and more time put into a weapon that was arguably the least-used in Black Ops.

IMO it's badass, it gives you an electric knife

I didn't read a good majority of the posts in this thread. As Tom said, tl;dr.

In all honesty, I feel they just made futuristic equivalents to the Black Ops guns and threw them in the box.

Commando --> MTAR

Spas --> S12

L96A1 --> DSR

HK21 --> RPD

I could go on forever.

That beings said, though, there are a couple of truly new additions to the box (the Executioner comes to mind).

So, yeah. I don't have much to add on this debate. Guns are guns—as long as we can kill zombies efficiently and creatively, I am happy.

don't you dare put the MTAR on the same page as the Commando, the MTAR is the Famas at best. I'd have to say the M27 and AN-94 are as close as it gets to matching the Commando's beasty awesomeness

yeah m27 seems to have less firepower than the commando but a bit more accuracy

Whoops. Forgot about the M27. That is certainly the BO2 equivalent of that gun. :p

Actually it switches to galva-knuckles directly as you knife...its just that the animation is so wuick that it can be easily misconstrued as an electirc knife...which would be bad-arse but unfortunatley is not the case...
