What do you need to hit the highest rounds?

As the title says, what do you really need to get to the highest rounds?

I recently saw under the thread that holds the legit world records (can't find it right now, sorry.) [Shooter's Old Thread] that these rounds are in the 100's-200's. Obviously you need to be skilled at the game to get it, with good guns, luck, a strategy, etc. But I've been wanting to really hit high rounds soon, so getting really deep into it, what do you really need?

1) How much time do you need? How should you butcher it? (rounds 1-50, 51-100, 101-150, etc?)

2) How far should you really go? (I see people's games reset/end because of glitches from the data brought from the high rounds.)

3) What specific guns should you use? (Talking about BO2.)

4) What strategy should you use? (Trains, map loops...?)

5) What steps should you take before trying to go for the really high rounds? (I mean 50+.)

Thanks,

bagel_

Well, the only thing out on BO2 is TranZit and Die Rise so I'll do those. Specifically Die Rise, made it to round 76 on there.

1. Considering sleep/work/school, you may need a couple days. Maybe more if your time is strict

2. Id stop at 100 honestly with a suicide considering all these glitches. Unless your offline, go forever then lol.

3. TranZit- Jet Gun, Ray Gun, point-building gun (with the LMG nerf preferable a Galil.

Die Rise- w/o Mule Kick- Siliquifier and an AN-94. I don't feel the need to spin for a Ray Gun. AN-94 kills in

4. Trains. Farm, Diner, or Town for TranZit. Fast food, floor below the roof (with MP5), buddha room, or the 2 rooms with the hole in the middle.

5. I'm not sure what you mean. Just stay focused and do what you've been told by all the good zombie slayers of the world.

Well, before I say anything, just know that high rounds require so much concentration. You'll need every ounce of focus in your body to maintain a high level of play for 150+ rounds. It's tough, but if you commit yourself to it, you can do it!

1) It depends on the map. If we're talking Black Ops 2, you could knock it out in one sitting (9 hours). If you want to go with some of the slower Black Ops 1 maps (Verruckt, Moon, Shi No Numa) you'll need at least 12 hours.

2) I would stop at 100. Past that, you are playing with fire. The game is built to go to 100, maybe 115—no farther.

3) Tranzit = Mustang and Sally and Ballistic Knives with Jet Gun. Delete the patch so you can burst fire the Jet Gun.

Die Rise = Sliquifier and a gun of your choice. I go with PDW because it's got a lot of ammo so it's awesome for Insta Kill and it's not explosive so you can't down yourself. Use only Jug, Revive, Who's Who, and Speed. Do not get perks from the rats.

4) Tranzit = Outside of Farm w/ the door closed. You will need to get monkeys before the box goes there so this requires a degree of luck, but bursting with the Jet Gun with that door closed makes it tons easier.

Die Rise = Camping the PDW stairs until you "unpatch" the Sliquifier, then chainbanging in the fast food restaurant.

5) Don't expect a 100 all at once. Make small steps. Do a 50, then do a 60, then a 70, and so on and so forth. Make sure you have enough time.

Good luck. ;)
