Floating orange orb...

When you arrive on the Golden Gate Bridge, look to the right of the Pack-a-punch and there is floating orange orb.

Anyone else notice this? It seems to be suspended in mid air rather than being of into the distant sky.

It is because you are under alcatraz when you're on the bridge. For example, when a teammate is in alcatraz and gets downed and you're on the GG bridge, you can see the down symbol somewhere next to the orb. So it's simply just a light glitch.
