Portal to another dimension

The History of the Ghost Stories

From Native Americans, to Fort Alcatraz, to a Military Barracks, now it is known has one of the toughest penitentiaries know to man. It is said to be the most haunted place in the world. It has been described a portal to another dimension. The energy of the prisoners souls still linger in the dark halls and cells of the prison.

The islands first visitors, the Native Americans believed the island was inhabited with evil spirits. As a punishment for breaking the tribal laws Indians were isolated on the island and sometimes left permanently.

The so called spirts that remain on this foggy island are said to be heard, seen, and felt, by staff and visitors that work and visit Alcatraz. The sounds of men's terrifying scream, whistles, and clanging metal doors were said to be here withing the historic walls mostly by the dungeons.

While the island was serving as a prison, a number of guards were said to hear sobbing, moaning, terrible smells, and reports of seeing something called "THE THING". An entity that was said to appear with glowing eyes. Other reports said that guards and families that lived on the island saw phantoms prisoners and soldiers.

Warden Johnston who did not believe in ghost encountered the sounds of a sobbing women while leading a tour. The sounds were said that they were coming from the dungeon. As the group passed the dungeon the sobs stopped, and a freezing cold breeze flew over the group.

Often it has been reported on foggy nights the old lighthouse will suddenly appear followed by an eerie whistle. Said by guards the spectacle vanished as soon as it appeared.

Often the guards encountered the smell of smoke as if something was burning in the laundry room. When the guards arrived the black smoke was so thick nothing was visible, but moments later the smoke all of a sudden would vanish.

In 1992 Alcatraz was on the T.V. show sightings, were the several of the parks staff confirmed the haunted history of the prison. Sightings hired psychic Peter James to get his impression as he walked through the prison. James said he heard voices of men that had been driven mad, and experience of fear abuse and, pain.

Interesting point that I want to discuss!

Hell

Since Mob Of The Dead come out, we have speculated that it was something unholy that was controlling the zombies. The quote above is proof that it IS the devil that is controlling them. Why?

Treyarch did a lot of research about the map. And I mean a lot! If you go to my "Alcatraz - Most Haunted" post, then you will see the links that are made to strange noises and other things around the map.

It looks like Treyarch also saw this. A portal to another dimension.

Although when you go in afterlife and see portal everywhere, that isn't what I want to focus on. I want to focus on the huge - point giving lava pit in the centre of the cell block. If you don't know what I'm talking about, quickly go on Grief, then immediately look down once spawned.

This looks like a portal. Lava spread around it, and reddish glows make it almost seem like hell its self. But this is a portal.

When you go to this spot and you throw a grenade to at the portal, you get 20 points. Why? Well, maybe I'm looking far too into this. But the active grenade goes through the portal. The 20 points could represent you getting a hitmarker on something in "hell".

Then when you want to get the Hells Redeemer. You throw the HELLS retriever down into the pit. It is then gone untill you do the next step. Who ever's hells retriever that was. He has it back. And he rewards you with the Hells Redeemer, as you have redeemed yourself.

Not to mention it is called the HELLS retriever, and redeemer.

In conclusion. Speculate no further.

Alcatraz is a portal to another dimension. The root of all evil. And it makes sense to be hell, as there are people at alacatraz that have done very bad things and will probably be going to hell.

I hope this cleared up some questions.

Thanks for reading!

I feel like its probably just a portal to hell within Alcatraz, rather than the prison itself being a portal. And yes, I think the portal is to hell. You made some really nice points and brought up some cool stories here! Well done.

+1

Edit: you should be careful using the word "proof." sure it's very solid evidence, but until we know without a shadow of a doubt that he'll is on the other side we can't say anything about it is proven.

I mean it's kinda like when we thought the zombie shield was going to return. we saw all the parts in the trailer so it was basically confirmed, but we couldn't actually say "the shield is back" until we actually got the map. Just be careful with the word "proof."

Very well done my good sir. I believe we talked about this in the past when it first came out though. The only thing is who made the portal to hell?

I believe the Warden summoned the portal. When you walk into the Office you're literally engulfed with red tint, candles, dozens of pictures on the walls, skulls etc. Plus when you get the Blundergat from there, it is surrounded by flames. It seems like the warden was a little crazy.
