The zombies can kill you while you are in afterlife.

So I was doing some late night playing with some guys that invited me. They went down, I revived them they went down again. I tried to get to the one dying out faster and got trapped. While reviving myself the zombies piled up on me and when they hit me it would take my afterlife away eventually killing me.

So beware they can take bits of your afterlife every time they hit you, and if they do it fast and in a large quantity, then you are dead

Hmm, two possible theories for this.

     2. It's odd how even when you turned away, it still said you were reviving yourself. Perhaps you still managed to revive yourself, but when you were brought up, you were quickly swarmed by all the zombies anyway.

Letting zombies hit you shortens your afterlife. I thought everyone knew this..

Its not a glitch every time your to close to a zombie in afterlife and they smack you,it takes time off of your afterlife metor also shooting electricity shortens your after life metor to

Never got swarmed by zombies in Afterlife before so didn't know that. Good to know, thanks!

Oh, I see. I've never been attacked by zombies while in Afterlife so I never knew.

Yep. You have a little afterlife meter in the bottom center of your screen, each 'rub' drops it down a bit, it's even visibly happening in the video.

I figured out that if you simply run into a zombie, it gets teleported away and you take a heavy hit to your afterlife meter. Had the same thing happen to me a couple days ago.
