Do we know who the pentagon thief is because I don't recall ever finding out and I was wondering who it was.

IMO he's like Brutus. Just there as a boss with no reasoning behind him.

hmm... I just find it a bit odd we never found out.. it kind of annoys me because I feel like they wouldn't just put in a boss and not give them at least a little background.

There are many theories who the Pentagon Thief is: some scientist, Peter, Clark, Blome, Cornelius, etc., etc., etc. None are proven.

And Brutus is pretty much certain to be a reincarnated, zombified Ferguson.

although my personal opinion on the theroies is that it is Clark, i prefer to just think of the thief as:

That's most likely what Treyarch are going for. For us to not know anything about certain things in the storyline, instead creating conspiracys about said boss. In my opinion 'Five' had little to nothing to do with the overall zombie storyline. Thus the Pentagon Theif not really having the slightest bit of solid background information. This being said it did connect with Ascencion via the red telephones scattered throughout the pentagon.
