FatedTitan Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Never thought about this until today(thanks Mac, Tac, and Milo) but Arlington is not only Al's last name, but it is also the location of one of the nations largest cemeteries with some of the most important names in US History BURIED there. Just a thought.... http://www.arlingtoncemetery.mil/
Gaycandybacon Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 So the Weasel could be Buried there? This is interesting because we do see tombstones in the Buried Trailer.
MF_MaxiMillion Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I heard about this before somewhere... but I doubt Buried is placed in that location. So the Weasel could be Buried there? This is interesting because we do see tombstones in the Buried Trailer. Buried is an underground "Western" town, though. Not a cemetery. The scene you saw in the trailer was merely the graveyard in front of the Mansion.

Titan could be on to something, maybe Al is Buried infront of that Mansion. Wonder what time period Buried's in. Right after Die Rise?
TheNathanNS Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 The time period is most likely late 1800's - early 1900's. The timing of the map itself most likely will be after Die Rise.
Rissole25 Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Naitrax brought this up the other day I think with Delta, saying how it was JFK's resting place. Though I believe they came to the conclusion that it was just a conclusion. You'd have to ask them though.
Xieon Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Arlington is also a subburb of Boston that has a lot to do with the whitey bulger days, and the mobster days of the 20s. It could have a connection, but I don't think it's not his last name.
TheBSZombie Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 We saw some RIP tombstones in the cutscene... good catch fated. Always nice seeing some of your posts.
PINNAZ Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Whilst writing a thread about Sodom and Gomorrah – Brimstone to Damnation HERE, I came across the "Albertine Rift". Though only coincidental by name, I thought it was a fitting title to include in this thread. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albertine_Rift The Albertine Rift is the western branch of the East African Rift, covering parts of Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania. It extends from the northern end of Lake Albert to the southern end of Lake Tanganyika. The geographical term includes the valley and the surrounding mountains. The Albertine Rift and the mountains are the result of tectonic movements that are gradually splitting the Somali Plate away from the rest of the African continent. The mountains surrounding the rift are composed of uplifted Pre-Cambrian basement rocks, overlaid in parts by recent volcanic rocks. Haha. Something different.
Stop Mocking Me0 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I doubt Arlington's name has much to do with the location as the city is buried underground in an old western victorian town and he was killed in san-fransisco in 1930....
