I see it like this. I "own" the map packs since I bought the season pass. They "gave" me the gun with the update. I should be able to use it.

I think it would be illegal if I went to the headquarters and took it before they scheduled release date.

For example if I went and took the dlc 4 and took it home and played it that would be wrong. But if they willingly gave it to me then I should be able to sue it.

But whatever... I'm not going to use it because I already think that this map pack will be one of the greatest map packs ever. Even rivaling Revolution. Think about it this way. In revolution, if you didn't like moon, you could still go play the o4 maps and use the new guns on there. Now we got a new gun and we can play ALL the maps with the new gun. I can now go back and play tranzit and have a brand new experience that I didn't have back then. I can go play town, farm and even motd if I wanted to. I especially want to go play nuketown with this new gun. But I am going to wait and not spoil myself for two reasons... A. The high rounds will not count to leaderboard lol. And B. if buried does stink I want to have a lot of time playing other maps...

I hear ya, I don't see the big deal. I played 3 games with it and dont plan another. I know the games for a week are gonna be filled with kids that want to spam the box for the new gun. I got my fix out of the way so I wont even care.

I have not used the new gun, but I saw a video a couple days ago of a guy having it and shooting at his feet repeatedly, zero splash damage. I cant say 100% if it was Papd.

I'll wait for it's official release, just because I have never liked futuristic weapons, was never a halo player even though it's made really well. I prefer bullets and blowing things up the old fashion way 8-)

I saw a video where he took splash damage. But it was kind of weird, he had toshoot at the ground then move forward. I doesn't seem like it would be a problem in real gameplay, though.

I played 3 games with it and had no spalsh damage with it normal or PaP. Now interesting if you said they shot the ground and walked forward and it hurt them. If you shoot the wall it leaves a green spat, maybe thats what hurts ya.
