As we can see in the Buried intro video,

Russman notes that they are nearing the rift as they get closer to the location of Buried. Note the Buried menu pictures I've linked:

What is this facility? It looks to be near the edge of huge hole caused by 'subducted tectonic plates'. What about the Grief/Turned highlighted location image? So many links to a story in this map :D

I believe the facility is a mining area, but the rift caused an old western town to be beneath it.

Agreed. I believe the rift can teleport anything/anyone to anywhere/anytime and that's why it needs to be mended. On another note, look at the two mining towers for the Buried image. We'll probably have to power one, maybe even (as an example) power the left tower for Richtofen or the right for Maxis.

Guys, when the DLC comes out, I think we need to play Grief and Turned mode first. It's located at the Rift right? Or the meteorite, I don't know, TOO MUCH INFORMATION AGHHHH!!!!!!
