Change in loading screen? Laziness or purposeful?

Ok, so we now have the loading screen, thanks to CharlieIntel, but there is something afoot at Treyarch!

We saw the tear on the Die Rise loading screen, and we speculated on what the valve or wheel could be. Well... now take another look at it...

Now take a look at the new one...

WHY...? Why has the page changed!? Where is the tear on the left hand side of the new screen that looked like a person? Why is the image at the bottom of the right hand side got a white border just above the wheel, but in the new screen it is now a longer image, spanning up the page!?!

This was one of the best things to speculate in zombies... What the clue to the next map was! Is this intentional on their part, or laziness?

I kind of puts me off speculating on such things in future, if they are going to change it, but then again, maybe there is a reason for it...

Pretty confusing nonetheless.

what about Nuketown zombies loading screen it didnt have a tear, then had one on Die Rise..

Wow... I never noticed that one. lol.

I do have a justified reason for that one though. I am not a fan of NTZ, so barely play it. Think I have only ever really studied the loading screen to see what the wrapper was about, in reference to the mictlantecuhtli.

Well, it still kind of seems strange that the actual page image on the right has changed altogether!? And the post card is no longer there either.

Pretty sure the images where more water tight on BO1, but then, maybe I am just nit picking...

Because Nuketown Z, takes place during Moon, and I guess the pages are in chronological order?

lol that explains nothing...i was just trying to say that tears may not mean anything, and if they do we probably wont know til the last dlc

exactly why i was skeptical of this... It seems so fake for these reasons... But apparently it's not...

SO! With that said, maybe the page wasn't ripped at all, and the tear was just an image on the page suggesting a man's figure and showing what WOULD have been the present, which MAY not stay that way.....

What if the identical tear was intended? Maybe they're hinting that these maps are happening at the same time...?

Sounds stupid, but time is broken, the characters are trapped in a loop, and remember that achievement for Buried? "In Buried, rewrite history." Maybe something happens so that this takes place instead of Die Rise...? I dunno, I'm just shooting in the dark. But I do feel like Treyarch is throwing some wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff at us.

I think the Rewriting Time achievement will have more to do with the box item that acts as a portable teleporter.

Well, there is always the option of there being TWO comics, depicting two scenarios in two different dimensions, caused by the rifts.

This could explain why one comic is more tarnished than the other, and maybe this is something that will be explained at a later time.

Still... I would not like to go that deep into it just to find out it WAS just laziness on the Dev's part?

As has been mentioned already, the track record on BO2 for this type of thing is definitely evident.

Now, as we've seen with Ascension-Call of the Dead-Shangri-La, the pages get ripped as we go along. So, perhaps we are viewing this page before it was ripped for GLF? Perhaps a reference to the rift or time changing, or like mk9008 said, something to do with Mob of the Dead.
