Help with destroying Debris

I am getting really frustrated now and am really not having a fun time with this map at the moment. I've been trying to get the big guy to break down the barrier to the house since round 8, have tried at least 15 times with no success, I'm on round 18 now and I still haven't been able to get him to clear the way.

I've been doing what the videos I have watched say, moving him in front of the debris and letting his back face it, then feeding him the candy. Am I missing something? No one else seems to be having trouble with this. This is ruining the new map for me. :(

You need to feed him liquor to get him to break the barriers. The candy makes him follow you and attack zombies.

Well have you tried aiming at the debris, I think that should work. :)

Wow I feel dumb now. I thought candy and booze both worked, didn't realise it was booze exclusively. >_
