I found it not to be a freezing gun but more of a partial seperater weapon that uses the force of the atoms around it breaking to slow down the undead and propel the beam upwards...,

I have not figured out the best strategy for this gun yet is short burst the best or hold fire till they die.

Short bursts does seem to work better in a team game
