One thing I hope for in the final DLC

A new Boss round. We have only seen one true boos round and that was in Die Rise. I love these rounds because it gives me a break to do other things like pack a punch or build buildables in piece, or at least a less stressful atmosphere. I don't care if the jumping jacks come back or the hellhounds return. Heck, give us a single boss that is as strong as George, but only comes on the certain round and gives a max ammo and a perk.

Whatever it is I just want a way to get a perk, a max ammo, and a faster round for the higher rounds (75+). I don't want a boss that comes during the round like brutus or a mini boss round like the witches. :!:

I agree sort of. I hate and hated the monkeys and never want to see them return. I have season pass and if I get wind they are returning I wont even download the last map that I already paid for.

To be honest, I love the direction Treyarch is going with these bosses. It's unpredictable as to when you'll encounter them, and gives us more of a challenge that placing ourselves in a corner blowing all our ammunition until that Max Ammo appears. I love the Hellhounds and Space Monkeys to death because of the originality. At the same time, I also enjoy the likes of Jumping Jacks and Brutus and ghosts. These kind of things really enhance the gameplay and make going through rounds a bit tougher in order to reach an objective. Since when does getting a Max Ammo every 5 rounds/getting enough time to get set up mandate a good game? Just look at FIVE and Verruckt and Tranzit.

Don't get me wrong, I love the challenge brutus gives and the witches. But I just want another map with another boss round.

Five has a boss round. Tranzit you can set up on round 1 and ammo isn't really a problem because you have an infinite ammo weapon. Veruckt I can't say much since I haven't really played that map.

The new bosses are kind of predictable. Brutus comes when you spam the box or every ~5 rounds if I remember correctly. And the witches come only when you go into the house.

I just don't want another map like moon, tranzit, and motd (I love both maps, just using them as examples) of where Im killing zombies straight for 50+ rounds. I want a little boss round to spice things up.

Verruckt really doesn't have a boss round to fill up ammo. But 9/10 when I play verruckt, Im not really gonna need a winters howl, or to refill its ammo. But yeah a boss like George would certainly help in spicing up the pace of the game.

I like Brutus because he is the middle ground between round-based bosses and mini bosses. He gives a power up each time and spawns sort of randomly, but certain events and actions trigger his appearance. My problem is that on rounds 1-10 (pre-jug) I'll be preparing to buy jug and he'll be like NOPE PWN'D BITCH. I don't like him as an atrial enemy for this reason. He runs like angry George and falcon punches you into submission with devastating force. A bit OP in my opinion.

I would like a round based boss which is actually hard rather than just a free max ammo / perk. One that is fast but intense. Like a Brutus round where you face a dozen brutuses at once. That would be quick but intense.

If there was a mid-round boss I'd like the Shangri-la approach. Either slow and strong or fast and weak. None if that OP Brutus crap.

Bosses haven't been the same since ascension, For better or for worse. However I'd like to see that type of boss return.

I was thinking of some type of bosses that would be cool to add into zombies. What if there was a boss that frantically attacked the power switch. He would spawn right in the power room and then turn off the power taking away the effects of your perks. He would be extremely fast and be able to get across the map in seconds

I really want to see hell hounds. Firstly cuz they are cool and second the rounds go by quickly and you can easily run around do stuff while you get set up.

I think something new and original is needed.

No offence hellhound lovers but I think that card has been played too many times, everyone knows exactly what to do and they carry no wow factor, it's just "oh, it's dogs" compared to "ahh shoot that crazy witch chasing me"

The JJacks are okay, but it's normally either kill or be killed with them. Either in the corner behind a flinger, or surrounded by them.

I like Brutus , it's a clever way to encourage quick fast paced games if you get a huge powerful guy spawning directly on top of you. And although I hate them, the smoke grenades are also a pretty cool idea

I've yet to encounter the witches so....

I think boss rounds are also a needed break in the hordes

I really do miss the Hell Hounds.Ii can tell you that.

Why don't they bring back something on the last map? There could be the Napalm and Shrieker Zombie having their own round when more than one spawn...

I don't think this is worth making a new topic but.. I'd like to see a "Hard Difficulty" in the next DLC.

Custom games have Easy and Original. Two options? Come on Treyarch!

Add sprinting zombies like WaW-Verruckt or CotD. Simple as that.

I agree. Those rounds were very helpful because you were always guaranteed a Max Ammo, and in some cases like Ascension and Die Rise, you could get a free perk. This gave a little challenge and a little more fun into the game IMO.

That has nothing to do with boss rounds....

Although on the topic of hard zombie maps: Roaming boss zombies seem to be the way to go... Round baced bosses tend to be a RELEIF more then a surprise...

My idea would be a weeping angle type-deal... It spawns in without a sound.... You think you're all nice and safe.... You look at it... It's a tall non-moving zombie with a suit on.... You look away.... You look back.... He's right in front of you.... You blink... game over.... Your dead body being carried in his arms....

@stoopmockingme, I do not like your idea just because I do not want another damn jump scare  The witches were bad enough the first day lol. But yea if we had a boss that spawned in during the rounds I would love for it to have no indication of it appearing. No sound when it spawns and no voice acting from your character.

Being as it seems we are kind of reaching the climax story wise, I think this would be a great idea. Hell, a lot of people playing zombies on BO2 probably don't even know what the hellhounds are since they haven't been in a map since Kino.

I would be ok with something new/different to though, its 6 to one half dozen to the other for me on this issue.

Oh and another Idea I had for the final Easter Egg reward.... something totally original. This may not work because of size/system constraints. But how cool would it be if after you finish the Easter Egg, in addition to all perma perks, you get a random Wonder Weapon out of all the WW's we've seen in zombies. not buildable ones. so each player would get a random: Wunderwaffe DG-2, Thundergun, Winter's Howl, VR-11, Scavenger, Jg-babymaker, zap/wave gun, blundergat/acidgat, paralyzer.

I think that would be soooooooo sweet, although rather unrealistic... eh I can dream can't i?

I also miss the Max ammo rounds, it's a good way to guess when you may get a max ammo, and when I see one starting I'm just happy it's a 5-10 minute round :) makes it better when you're trying to get those high rounds.

I wouldn't be opposed to one tough boss, but I don't mind the jumpers, or the hell hounds even though they blow up in your face :/
