Freezing Since New Update

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Everytime I go to zombies, either the screen stays black with a number in the top right corner or the menu comes up but freezes.

Campaign and Multiplayer both come up perfectly fine.

I've tried:

Deleting and re downloading the update [DOESN'T WORK]

Trying a different game to make sure my Xbox ain't screwed.

Signing out. [WORKS!]

Signing back in on the zombies menu [FREEZES]

So, anyone got a fix for this?

The only fix I had was not signing in to my account until it fully loaded. But that didn't work entirely and it could have been a coincedence because it was like the 5th or 6th time I tried. Also waiting it out will eventually get you to the actual game. Hopefullly....

Actually, on some people's consoles, it's effecting zombies too....

Also, I re downloaded every DLC...

Black Ops 2 only reads Vengeance. It says I haven't downloaded Nuketown 2025, Nuketown Zombies, Revolution, Uprising or any camos.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUU

Yes.

List of things I've tried:

Deleting cache: NO

Deleting and re-downloading the update: NO

Signing out and starting BO2: YES

Signing back in on the Zombies menu: NO

Deleting & redownloading ALL BO2 stuff: YES [Temporarily]

Now everytime I start BO2 up, something different happens.

Either:

Reads ONE DLC.

Freezes

Won't read any DLC

Takes 1 min 40 secs to start up.

It seems every patch they release, there is something wrong with it.

Like the Pre-Buried patch, the RGM2 was leaked.

Blah. They better hotfix this by 10, BO2 is seriously unplayable.

Until then, I'm either gonna play GTA SA or Bully.

E: Bully's got an update. ._.

If I see "Disconnected from Xbox Live" along with "An update is required" again I will scream.

I'm having an issue where only after this update not a single game of mine will load. Not even games directly on the hard drive. I've tried everything and nothing has fixed it.

so I ejected the disc and my xbox completely froze lol yea...so I reset it and tried again, did the same thing.. reset but loaded the game while having the xbox guide on-screen and it loaded fine..

This. Hope it isn't related.

My Black Ops 1 loaded slowly and after one game, would not let me do anything other than Solo.

Upon restarting, at the main menu it froze.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record AND Minecraft took ages to load....

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record was searching for DLC for about 5 minutes and Minecraft took forever to load a world.

Also YouTube and 4OD won't start.... "Check xbox.com for status"

What the hell is wrong with Xbox today?

I think Xbox Live has been hacked. I noticed when I first signed in, it said not all content on Live would work properly or something, like there were no dashboard adds, I couldn't access my pins, but I could join a party.

Downloaded update, BO2 didn't work.

I decided to play Assassin's Creed 2, but it barely loaded, and near froze my Xbox.

At the same time, my friend could no longer play Fifa 13.

Midnight Club LA worked, but I'm sure that's because it's a smaller portion of the Online spectrum, cause no one really plays it.

I keep randomly disconnecting from Live though.

Also, I hopped on Minecraft. It would freeze right before it would load up a world.

Another interesting thing or 2 to note, would be that I looked through my storage devices when I was in a party, and it said Cloud Games was offline. I also saw several things in many games storage called "Title Progress Cache", and it had a yellow exclamation point, usually reserved for corrupted or downloading games.

But I'm not done yet. I went to play Dead Rising 2, and it froze the first time. The second time, it was froze on checking DLC, and I pressed the middle button, and I finally was able to start a game. However, it froze randomly later on in that game, even though I have it installed. I swear, this needs to be fixed.

Not to mention when loading apps my Xbox would freeze for a few minutes before loading....

Kinda weird this is...

You do have a point, everything on Xbox has been so slow since the Black Ops 2 update, even non-related things to Black Ops 2.

YouTube & 4OD are "down" though my friend is on it.

I have no DLC on Black Ops 2.

I got the "Some Xbox Live content is currently unavailable" error.

Dead Rising 2 & Dead Rising 2 Off the Record take ages to find my DLC.

Bully: Scholarship Edition is frame skipping more than usual.

Minecraft feels like it's downloading a 1GB world.

Saints Row: The Third is laggy.

Now to test GTA IV.

Ah crap.

But I still wonder why it's effecting ALL games.

Or what is actually causing it....

Also I've noticed some LOD texture bugs on GTA IV.

I've had to re-update EVERY single one of my games.

Bully, DR2, GTA4, Black Ops 2, Left 4 Dead, DR2 OTR.....

WTF IS WRONG WITH XBOX?!?!?

You said you cleared your cache, right? Whenever you clear your cache, you have to download the most recent updates for all games regardless.

I thought you had to visit the individual game and delete the update to clear updates...

well you can do that too, but clearing your cache works like that across the board.

Eh, Skyrim stopped lagging, and signing in isn't a problem right now.

Parties work at least, and Resident Evil 5's co-op is fine.
