The lsat. A nice 'big ammo' gun. Many don't seem to understand how to get it once the platform falls. So, without cheating, here's the way.

If you leave the platform intact, it will make your first return easier.

Get paralyzer (or petrifier), go through the maze's well (have the big guy break the fountain in front of the church, destroy the maze fountain with grenades or ray guns, leaving a yellow vortex), you will come out below the start area (navcard table is built here). Get below the broken steps that lead to the lsat. Look down with petrifier, fire, jump, steer over the stairs, drop. Now you can jump up and buy lsat.

To get more ammo fly back up to the wall icon and buy it.

Get another player an lsat: return paralyzer to box. Next player hits box until paralyzer comes up and takes it.

That player goes through well and flies up to start area. That player gets up against the wall the lsat is on, faces it (but he'll be off to one side), fire, jump. You will hit an invisible barrier, go left until the yellow railing is just to your right. Feather the trigger so you begin to descend. Buy the lsat as you pass it.

If you have max guns, this will trade the paralyzer for the lsat.

If you buy/have mule kick and only two guns, you will not lose the paralyzer. So, for solo, come up to start with mule kick and only two guns so you don't trade off the paralyzer.

This may be obvious to you, but many apparently haven't grasped this concept yet.

Also, it is actually possible to quickly switch to another weapon in mid-air so that you don't swap out the Paralyser for the LSAT, if you'd rather swap out a different weapon.
