The man on the table that richtofen is operating on is Maxis

when you see the picture of maxis he has a beard, the man on the table also has a beard .Plus when you start a game, maxis brain in in that jar you use for the drone. Why would Richtofen Kill Maxis For his Brain?

Richtofen also states that maxis met his demise.... Meaning he is dead... So many questions...

You're right. I also gathered this, because the first piece of the Maxis Drone (in the starting room) is brains. It's the same room where Richtofen is dissecting him in the intro (but the body is gone now), and between in-game quotes and the Richtofen diary on Xbox Live, Richtofen says that Maxis became infected and that he tried to save as much of him as he could. Also when the Maxis Drone is built, Maxis says "I can't feel! What have you done, Richtofen?"
