I've been wanting to get into making my own map but I have yet to find a good tutorial can someone please help me get started?

Just so you know, it is going to take a lot of time and patience. I'm currently developing my own map myself. If you're serious about this, look up BerntsonVideos on YouTube. That man has posted some wonderful tutorials for custom mapping.

Like Flammen said, it'll take a lot of time and patience (working on a map myself).

Look up TheBritResistor His tutorials are from 2011 so you'll have to dig through some Minecraft and other tutorials first but this is the guy I learned all the basics from.

As I always recommend, watch some tutorials then download the stuff and try it out for yourself, mess around see how things react etc so you learn it quickly yourself.

I haven't seen a Youtuber cover Custom Scripting however, only very basic stuff.
