Thanks Chopper, I definitely will get cracking with these strats. I think that this will do everyone good (in terms of strategies that have never been heard of). I think my hardest guide to do would be Five, as setting up windows would be part of the rounds after 25.

Man I don't know if I'd even attempt to setup windows that early.

 

I was in a lobby with both Steve and Scottie when they did their 5 runs.  Scottie started on 42 or something, and it took him 4 hours the first time.  I know in the end, both guys didn't do it until past 46 as they thought it was a little slow in there earlier.

 

5 is such a crap map as rounds 35 to 50 take so damn long.

Ok, I did screw that last post up. I camp til 35, Buy QR, and get the crossbow, then slowly transition to setting up the windows. Also, which scottie run were you there for? The 176 or 202?

Not sure he'd want me to tell you but it was on one of his practise runs.

On his first run, he needed help with just where the trap parts were!  It was one of these practise runs where it took 4 hours, and then he went down almost immediately getting cut off going back into the trap room.

I think it was run 4 which was the 176.

 

These guys never ever stream their first attempt, no-one is that good

Ha, in my opinion its just trial and error, and once that part is done, 100+ comes easy.

Im gonna try a 50+ solo run now,but im not gonna record(i wanna use headset and need to get component cable to use elgato nd headset at same time)

Good luck, buy QR as soon as possible to avoid downing. (I sometimes do for precautions.)

Well yeah, that's the general idea, except I use raygun for as long as possible.

Revisting this topic, I did a 166 recently (Jbird's theoretical strat) on pc, and it does work, in a way. Your only issue is (of course) dogs. My PB is still 179 on xbox.

And the one for insta kill rounds is in the type 100 room with the type 100 upgraded dogs should be no problem 2-3 shots to kill em

Yes, but just have your ray gun ready, sometimes dogs create a clusterf%ck in there. Otherwise, zombies only come from 3 ways: the box spawn, the steilhandgranates, and the dt area.

Yeah I thought it would work good, you should usually be able to kill the dogs with the type 100 if there's just a few.

I believe there's also a vid of someone running the type 100 room too. Thats what I used to get out of "hairy" situations (ie 3 dogs spawn, I would run around, get out of the room, and spray t100 all the while.) Also, I tested the kino instakill round strat too.

Yes in theory. My 163 doing t100 was 29 minutes I believe vs 37 minutes doing normal strat.
