Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2- Zombies Connections (Possible Spoilers?)

Not sure if there are any fans of the Walking Dead game on here, but I was playing through episode 2 today and I noticed some small little things that (maybe) you could relate to zombies! (besides the fact that there are zombies).

1.  In the episode you meet a man named Carver.  This character is played by Michael Madsen (who was Finn's voice in Mob of the Dead)

2.  When you're talking to Carver, he says this:

"Hey, listen kid.  I hope you're not one of those nuts headed up north, 'lookin' for Shangri-La."  And as we all know, Shangri-La was a map in Black Ops (although he just means a generic paradise here)

I know the second one is a stretch, but still though!  Caught me off guard.

Anyone else play through this today??

Playing through it right now.

That line caught me off guard. I definitely knew it was the same voice actor as soon as he said that line.

That's a bit of a stretch, even by "M.A.R.S." conspiracy theorist standards. Michael Madsen has played in a wide range of works, so the only thing surprising about his appearance is that Telltale was somehow able to have him perform in a non AAA game.

Shangri-La IIRC is a mythical earthy paradise that has been used a A HUGE NUMBER of games, music, movies, shows, and much more.  It's definitely not exclusive to Black Ops at all.

Trust me, you're digging a bit too deep for clues if you're citing a Zombie Game that has pretty much zero connections to the Black Ops series.

I think this latest Walking Dead 2 episodes are probably the best so far. Can't wait to see the next episode 3 of this series. Hopefully, the character is changing from Clamentine to other character, I think Luke is the perfect character in the next chapter given that he looks like a hero in the game. I don't know why, i just know it. I think it's really obvious actually. .
