Solo easter egg advice anyone

I'm about to attempt the solo Easter egg and I was wondering if anyone had some useful advice before I go into the fray

Been trying this as well. I get the airstrike monkey bombs at round 6 and then get all the staff parts.

Last night i tried filling all the staves with souls in the crazy place all at once...seemed to work pretty well.

The part i have trouble with is throwing the bomb at the right time, after leaving the robot.

Anyone have any good tips for that part? Ive heard hit the button when maxis says 'one' and ive heard that i should hit it when it should be 'zero'....any help is much appreciated.

Yea upgradin the staffs has been my problem

I wrote a short guide a while ago on how I start up my games, getting all 4 staffs and upgrading them.

This is very effective for getting the easter egg done early as well as playing for high rounds. 

On the Rain Fire step what I do is is hit the button when Maxis counts down "1" and then rush over to the crates and throw the air strike. Don't cook it, just throw it when you get there. You have several seconds.
