So basically im going to go through all the lyrics of the songs and see whats going on in them because they seem to show Sams Story.

So the name of the song makes me think this is a song for Maxis from Sam as she has just arrived in Aether and is still in shock over her fathers death and her teleportation into a world of chaos. She might think that Maxis could still have a chance at living and or maybe he is slowly dying as she says "Youll never give up and die"

She might also have some sort of hatred for him because of the fact its his fault shes in Aether and because he experimented on her dog, Fluffy. There is evidence of this more as she says "Father, why have you forsaken me" The fact she quickly changes between moods makes me think she might have had mental problems before the incident.

This song doesnt apply to her as much as the others as it seems to be more about the plight of a zombie, which is the human soul and the hunger. The Human doesnt want to kill all these people they just want to die and be put out of their misery while the Hunger causes them to experience the pains of starvation while never dying so they eternally want to eat. This could also apply a bit to Sam as she wants to be free from this horrible existence and move on but she cant and so she is forced to kill Richtofen out of a sense of revenge.

This song also seems to apply more to the group and whats going through their heads as they try and survive but some of it can still apply to Sam especially the final few lines as it seems she is saying to them thats she isnt really dead and she is so close to death and yet she cant move on. Also this could be read as a taunt from Sam to the group as the first verse represent each person.
