To me it looks like either an unmanned drone or a missile with wings... Whatever it is, it's really small, so it isn't manned.

You don't know that for sure it could be far from the camera so it just looks small.

Maybe Treyarch is trying to tell us that you can attack aircrafts with the quadrotor, cause it looks like it could be from the quadrotor's point of view.

The craft/missile has pretty distinctive wings, so it shouldn't take us long to find out the model and get more hints to the games era.

To get a better idea of the size of the aircraft we should try and find out what the circular object is. I think this might be a new aircraft developed by Tacitus and might be hard to find anything on it as of yet.

Maybe the UAV helps for pinpointing a timeframe that BO2 can take place in? It doesnt look like a BO1 spyplane/uav, nor any other previous CoD.

Really? No one is gonna say it could be hinting at the return of the reaper drone? I for one liked that killstreak and hope it does return. As for the "ufo", I'm not gonna lie. It DOES look distinct and it doesn't look like just a blotch in the image. If it were just a blotch, why isn't there others? I believe the circular object to in fact be the quadrotor and the reaper is further away causing it to look small.

Yeah it does appear to be the quadropter.. The reaper would be epic if it made it into blop2

The shape isn't right for a reaper, it looks more like a Cruise Missile.

Reapers are fired from an aircraft that size. UAV, Predator Drone, Reaper Drone. All the same thing. It's an Air Drone. I know it.
