PayPal levies a tax on all donations, so it takes a very small bit off each monay.

It's been set so that it deducts the tax that is taken on each donation. so that the actual donation figure shows the actual amount we have received (rather than the actual donation, which isn't what we receive).

 

It can be changed to show the full donation but will show the goal as being achieved when it hasn't actually been achieved.

@ZombieOfTheDead Paypal never worked for me as well. 

You can buy a prepaid Visa card instead at any nearby store. Over here they come in values of 25,- 100,- 500,- etc. 

 

Once bought, just activate the card on the designated website, and you can start buying stuff online just like you would with any normal credit card. I know it worked for Lenne.

Only $18 short for covering server costs for the month, dig deep if you can folk, we would appreciate it.

 

I've just donated $24 but I've also just renewed the forum software suite for another 6 months at $65, we don't have to but it allows us to keep upto date and get technical support etc if needed.

That time agaion folk's. we have add a new donation goal - we received 1 donation in December for @Tac thank you but we made up the rest with the remaining amount from AD revenue,we also spent $25 on installation of the caching system. So we are don't have any funds for January.

 

If everyone could donate $2, we could cover January and February with ease, this is a request to everyone to help us out a little, we can't ask the staff to dig deep again but we can ask everyone (including staff) to donate a few quid/euros/dollars.

 

We know it's a lot to ask, we really do but we really do appreciate each and every single donation.

If anyone would like to put a donation forward, we would greatly appreciate any and all contributions. As you all know, we have done a lot of work recently and some things are still missing and we are aware of this (such as medals, user of the month etc.) but these will all come back soon (don't have timescales).

However, advert income alone doesn't keep things alive and generally it comes out of our own pockets but if you can give a donation, we thank you and you'll receive the donor award group and medal.

If not, no stress we thank you for being a member, we realise not everyone can donate but those that can and have spare cash, we would welcome it (we ain't struggling, but it would be helpful in the short and long term).
