Why Are we NOT discussing these points?

I'm not sure if this is a leak, or if I missed something... But ON OUR OWN HOMEPAGE, http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/index.php?/news/call-of-duty-news/new-black-ops-3-info-campaign-multiplayer-zombies-beta-r14/ , is a LOT of JUICY info on all 3 modes to come november!

-Camp:

-HOLY SHIT CO-OP campeign! Missed this in WAW LOVE to see it return! Anyone want to play along side me when I play?

--- Customizable characters: Ok, I can dig!

Multiplayer:

Specialist characters: Things go a bit TF2 on us now! COOL! I hope there's a medic class!

New movement system: Seems to be more like a snake-like movement then a double-jump type.

Zombies:

1:

All-new Narrative
No Treyarch title would be complete without its signature Zombies offering – a full-game experience with its own distinct storyline right out of the box.

Note: While this does say "All new Narrative" I don't think this means "new zombies story entirely".  It describes the narrative just like other trey arch games, where BO1 and BO2 carried on the zombies story from the game before. SO, take from that what you will...

2: X-P ranking system! YES! You heard right XP based!

Will there be rewards? Will it be map specific? IDK! SEEMS FUN! (And better then BO2)

Now, there is one more thing I'd like to discuss:

BO3 beta: Pre-orderist get a beta of SOMETHING. But what is it? The logo seems zombie-lab related, but what do I know?

This no leaks policy is hurting us. I know, I know, leaks are bad.

BUT, Treyarch. I don't see them slipping up like that.

They wanted it leaked.

The true fun starts on the road to general release.

Codz is too quiet, sound the alarm.

New Treyarch title world reveal TODAY.

Get your arses in gear.

This IS CODZ.

Get pumped.

Regards Alpha. :)

The whole no leak policy seems to be a bit dodgy.

Maybe the staff should rethink this.

Co-op Campaign is back, which makes me happy and the zombie mode having a ranking up system is fine by me.

Have faith in Treyarch, first time they have had a 3 year development cycle.

Look what they did with two.

The picture we have is dark, the name the cursed is very dark.

That death card is loaded with darkness.

I see a theme developing here.

This is good.

Regards Alpha.

The offical site states there will be "all new story"

But they also describe it as being a treyarch regular to have a brand new narrative strait out the box. Basically BO1 and BO2 are "all new stories" is what they're saying. Of course these stores continue off the game before it, but they are somewhat "brand new".

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying there's a chance this isn't what it first appears to be....

I think we should just wait and see if any of the characters we know return....

Basically I think it means a new saga in the story. Technically BO had the whole arc of collecting the artifacts for the MPD. Then it was following the voices in BO2. I wonder what it will be this time, but I am sure it will be part of the last story.

Man I just wish theydropped the old story. It's already ruined to the point of not being interesting. No point in dragging it along.

I love the old story! It defiantly can be redeemed EASILY!

I KNOW, I'VE SPENT THE LAST 2 YEARS THEORIZING HOW! :ENVOUTER:

I'm with Matuzz on this one. I love the O4. We all do. But it's the future. I want to see a new story, and I feel that's what we're gonna get. I reckon we'll get references to the old story, but I think this one's gonna be completely different.

Theres no point arguing it since nobody can be confirmed to be right until they actually give us some information.

That right there is the reason why I'm not jumping with my eyes closed into the hype train.

Matuzz if that were true you wouldn't be here.

Furthermore, what if this story is the story of the O4 in argartha? Is that possible? Thoughts?

I'm here to see the news and what they game will look like and what it will turn out to be. I have not even decided if I will buy it. What I'm sure of is I will not buy it at least on the launch. I will wait and see the actual hands on impressions of the community. Part of why I'm here was also that I like figuring out the cryptic teaser things Treyarch does, and I don't need the game for that. Heck I got the Black Ops DLC packs only way after the last DLC dropped when they all wen to sale. Didn't stop me from doing my theory content.

Yeah, I can't imagine the huge disappoint Tranzit was after waiting for 2 years after BO1. I got the game last year and all the DLCs so Mob of the Dead and Origins made up for it.

Tranzit, Die Rise, and Buried. As long as we don't get maps like that, we're good. Banking system and locker totally ruined BO2 zombies making it even MORE easy than what it was.

Mob of the Dead, Origins, Nuketown were good though. Bo1 duh.

I'll just wait and see.

There's no point in being blindly faithful. Especially after BO2.

The one thing I noticed was that Lamia was wearing a shirt with Flopper on it, and yet there is no Dolphin diving in the game. Seemed interesting to me.

Von was wearing a shirt with from NY to LA on it.

Still have some hope zombies will be good, but the news today doesn't give me much to celebrate. Call of Destiny: Titanfall.

Not sure if I should pre order or not, don't really care much about the multiplayer beta access.

Perhaps this next story will be ending the cycle? We can't forget how BO2 left it wide open, and I'm not here to get into debate over canon or non, but it would be awfully sad to just chop the story and just go "Oh well! Here is a new story for you to hate on"

My only main worry, is this looks sorta Exo-ish to me, I really hate future games, with the exception of Mass Effect and Destiny, I just hope there is more focus on in game missions, rather than flashy attachments and perks. Give me at least ONE simple, basic and difficult map....like Nacht :P

I doubt the futuristic aspects (aside from the weapons) will carry over to zombies. If I had to guess, not even all of MP will have the exo-like movement. Just certain classes. This theory spawns forms from the indication of "tailored" maps which are usable by those who don't even want the movement abilities. In zombies I expect full on-the-ground gameplay with MAYBE only a grapple to assist, no more, for ALL maps.

1.  If it's a new storyline, I'm out.  I've invested far too much thought and theorizing into the current story to have to try to figure out a new one.  I barely play CoD anymore anyway, so that would just give me a good reason not to buy it.

2.  I don't trust Treyarch at all.  Not only was BO2 Zombies embarrassingly bad, but they straight up lied to loyal customers.  "Nuketown Zombies will be Hardened/Prestige exclusive!"  Sunday night before release, they announce that it'll be available with a Season Pass.  They announce it when it's literally impossible to change your preorder because of most shops' 24 hour policy on changing preorders.  I don't trust Treyarch to not lie to me.  Period.

That's all I've got for now.  Just binge watched Hunter X Hunter all week and finished tonight so I'm left with a void of missing the characters and a head full of questions from an anime on hiatus :(.

Granted, Treyarch disappointed with BO2 Zambies; but I think they love the story as much as we do. They are proud of it. And they don't really have a history of straight-up telling us stuff. They want us to figger it out. Remember Der Riese and Shi No Numa. Not a hint. Other than mythical tech, Nazis, and a mysterious symbol, we didn't get shown much. Unless we searched. I know players who, to this day, didn't realize there was even a story to the Zombies game mode. Heck, they didn't know the characters had names. Because they weren't paying attention to game content. Merely gameplay. Treyarch caters to us, not them.

That being said, I am virtually convinced that, not only will they continue the story we know...or theorize and LOVE; but they're gonna do it well. I feel kinda like BO2 was the equivalent to The Walking Dead's S2. Slow. Less entertaining than the others (I say so loosely, because all TWD is amazing) but essential, all the same. Except for MotD. Which, as good as the map is, and as eerie, is frustratingly outta place and essentially, too much on the occultic instead of scientific/mystic-science based and completely outta line and outta time for the story.

Means folks, this story is just getting started. This is good shit. LOL! Just my rock solid unmoving and blindly loyal opinion. They'll have two screw up BO3 and Treyarch 5 to lose me.

@HardenedTitan I can understand the frustration; but for someone like myself, hardcore Zombies player, and love the campaigns, but who only plays multiplayer on occasion, I am thankful that they don't stick to exclusives like that. Now, I'm all for rewarding the loyal, but not that way.

I suppose you were talking to me.

It's not about doing something exclusive or not.  It's about straight up lying to fans that it would only be available in Hardened/Prestige editions, then informing everyone it would also be available in the Season Pass when it was too late to change preorders.  So basically, the people who got Hardened are already going to get the Season Pass.  They know that.  You aren't getting a collector's edition and not a season pass.  It's just super unlikely.  So they took that knowledge and intentionally lied to get an extra $20+ out of everyone.

I think we are twisting their words a bit.  "A whole new story line" and a different story can have two very different meanings.

Black Ops II was a new story, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist in the same universe. Hell, Origins was a different story in itself. I have faith in Treyarch, and I fully expect them to deliver.
