“ You don’t even remember how long this has been going on” – Samantha Maxis, Origins

Kino Der Toten Revisited

After Escaping the timeline where the entity rules everything you land right back in kino der toten. However things have heavily changed. You land in kino as very old men. The origins 4 now have beards and their hair has turned white. Their outfits are battle damaged from so many years of fighting the undead and the demons however their appearance changes each time you use the teleporter together.

3 Kinos

When you spawn you will spawn in one of 3 kino der toten’s. Original Kino der toten, Post Moon Kino der Toten and Shadow Kino. Each kino is different however you will always begin in normal 1960’s Kino.

Original Kino

In the original Kino der toten the map layout is identical the one in Black Ops. Very little to actually do here except you can reactivate 115 and explore the map. You also have exclusive access to mule kick in this map as well as the original Black Ops wall weapons such as the stakeout and the Bowie Knife. These items cannot be obtained in the other 2 versions of the map. When you teleport together something strange happens… The 4 original perks can be found in this version of Kino

Post Moon Kino

Post Moon kino brings some drastic changes to the original map. The nazi flags are gone and the alleyway is barricaded from the horrors that wait outside. However something else happened to this theatre before you arrived. The theatre ceiling has bodies dangling from the ceiling. After the Rockets hit the Flesh took residence in the theatre for a few months. You will find writings on the walls depicting their madness. The AN-94 is exclusive to this section of the map as well as the Galva Knuckles. The stage in this version of Kino is being used as an Altar worshiping the voices. However the floor of the Stage is caved in revealing a hidden area. This area contains many pods containing failed experiments. Basically it is just a storage and it sort of resembles the structure of the generator 3 box location in origins. Vulture Aid and Electric Cherry can be found in this version of the map replacing Double tap and Speed Cola

Shadow Kino

A very strange version of Kino Der Toten. There is no debris and there are no flags. The whole world looks different, more modern and less apocalyptic. The zombies that spawn in this version of kino do not spawn in from the windows but rather materialize out of thin air. When they die they vanish into black smoke rather than leave behind a corpse. Bullets to not leave markings on the wall and occasionally you will see shadows moving around the theatre that cannot be interacted with. You can find Modern Weapons in this area however the weapons you buy from the walls here appear to be shadows. The Scar can be purchased from the wall for 2000 and you can also find the M16-A4. In this version of Kino you can find Deadshot and PHD flopper replacing Jug and Quick Revive. You will also find that the room with the paintings is closed and won't open. However you can go to the parking lot and look outside

Demons

The entity cannot reach you now that you have re-entered the old universe. However it will still send Demons after you through the gateway. Depending on the time period of Kino Der Toten when the special round starts you will get 1 of 3 special Demons

Stalkers: Red and Black demonic Spiders with human like jaws. Every 5 rounds purple portals will appear around the map and the Stalkers will begin spawning. The only way to stop it is to destroy all the portals by throwing grenades into them. When Stalkers spawn the entire map is engulfed in purple mist. Stalkers still have the ability to suddenly pounce forward however they also have the ability to shoot webs in order to block doorways. When a doorway is blocked it needs to be knifed 3 times in order to cut the web down. This Demon spawns in 1960’s kino

The Golems: A giant creature with many mouths. Like the other maps the Golem is blind due to the lack of eyes on it’s face and will resort to listening to the footsteps of players. Any noise at all, Firing, reloading, knifing, jumping, and running will set it off. Due to the size of this creature only one will spawn during the special round. It is also very powerful so it will take many bullets to kill it. However there is a new twist to the Golem this time around. A mouth on it’s stomach will open up and reveal a huge yellow and black eyeball that moves around and if it sees you it will give a bloodcurling scream which will cause the Golem to attack. The eye will only open if it hears any noise. If the golem does not find any players it will eventually go away through another portal. This Demon can only be encountered in Post Moon Kino.

The Traveler: The traveler is a being that appears in the shadow world. His entire body takes on the appearance of a dark featureless silhouette. He does not talk but rather points around the map. He looks somewhat familiar. He cannot be harmed but he is indeed the only enemy you encounter in this round. All you have to do is follow him around the map and eventually he will just fade away leaving behind a Mystery Drop that will have a random effect similar to the QED.

Hellhounds: Classic Hellhounds will spawn in from Lightning alongside the Zombies once you reach round 20. Hellhounds are more aggressive than before. Whenever a player gets downed Hellhounds will not stop attacking. They will rip you apart and make you bleed out faster

Using the Teleporter Each time the teleporter is used the entire map begin to change. However this only happens when all players enter the teleporter at the same time. You are sent to the pack a punch room for 30 seconds and after you are sent away. When you spawn back you will return back to the theatre the entire map will change.

New Death!: Now, instead of disappearing when you die your body stays where it was when you took your last breath.

Wonder Weapon

Thundergun: Good old Thundergun. Nothing beats blasting zombies away

Raygun: Classic Raygun with the classic Colors.

DG-1: Can only be used if the Easter Egg in Der Riese Revisited was completed. Will be put in rotation once save data is detected.

Easter Egg

There are no Quest Eggs in this map. You are merely passing through. However you will still find smaller easter eggs around the map.

The Traveler is a lost fragment

The Flesh attempted to use the teleporters….without success.

The Flesh drew pictures of the Demons on the walls. Each room has a picture of a different Demon, Hellhound, Denizen, Stalker, Golem, Unnamed Wasps from Buried,

The Shadow world of Kino resembles a world untouched by the undead.

You do not exist in the Shadow world. To its inhabitants of this world you are merely a cold chill down the spine.

The Golem no longer has chains binding it’s arms and legs.

Samantha Maxis will question why there are 2 similar groups

Edward Richtofen will question how you made it back to Earth

There is No announcer in the Shadow World

The Shadow world has a phone. It will sometimes ring. Pick it up and listen. You can hear nothing.

Classic Kino has a Phone backstage. When it rings listen. They know when you are sleeping.

Post Moon Kino has a phone, Pick it up and listen.  A survivor confessing his crimes of betraying his friends

1960’s kino the origins characters are Old with worn out outfits

Post Moon Kino the Origins characters are young

Shadow Kino. Characters look normal. Not equipped for war but look more civilian

Is the Traveler the blank portrait? I like the idea, even if I think Kino is set after the rockets hit anyways, especially the phones they are really cool. Stalkers sound creepy as well.
