Ascension Remake [ Barebones Concept[

Ok so this is going to be a very barebones concept since I just thought of this on the fly. But here is my idea

After the events of The Giant the Origins 4 are greeted by a mysterious character known as  

The traveler/Shadow Man

The traveler sees what richtofen has done to change history and explains that what he did could have consequences if they do not succeed in their mission. So the Traveler decides to show them the future if they fail to stop the oncoming darkness. 

When the Origins 4 Wake up they find themselves on a lunar lander descending down into a rocket facility. However as they descend hundreds of Rockets begin Ascending into the sky. Welcome to the future. The Sky is mostly devoid of Stars and is a tint of blood red. The darkness has consumed most of the stars in the universe and humanity has just abandoned planet earth due to the never ending undead apocalypse. 

However, not everyone made it out as planned. One man remains on Earth after his rocket failed to launch with the rest of the evacuation.

" Please......Help me.... The Mechanism must be repaired.....The Darkness....It's coming.... I do not want to die here......please...."

The easter egg objective is to save the last man on earth from his grim fate. Whether or not humanity will reach safety is unknown and it will never be known. However you must give this man Hope. 

The ground is covered in purple mist so you can't see what you are walking over. All you know is that it is moving because you can hear the sound of squishing and slithering underneath. The entire Russian cosmonaut station has been re skinned to resemble a refugee evacuation zone. There is luggage blocking the doorways most likely used as barricades to buy more time for the rockets to launch and get everyone to safety. Decontamination zones used to get rid of 115 on the surface of objects and people. The area next to the Rocket and Pack a Punch which normally would go downwards past the boundaries of the map is now this Huge Pit filled with Burning Bodies. 

Of course there are also Demonic Enemies running around aiding the Zombies. 

 

NEW DEMONS

Creepers: These small octopus like creatures/Demons with many teeth crawl under the mist. You can only see the tip of their heads in the mist. If you touch them they will latch on to your legs and begin to suck out any perks you have equipped. They replace the monkeys and can be kicked away by jumping over and over again. Use a flamethrower to clear areas and heat up the ground so they don't spawn for a while in that particular area

The Swallow: A demonic creature that stands up like a human but has 2 tentacles for hands and one huge mouth. If it catches a player it will swallow them whole. It will then start to run away. You have a limited amount of time to chase this creature around the map and kill it before it vanishes into a portal killing the swallowed player. Consider throwing grenades into the open mouth in order deal more damage and kill it faster. 

Wonder Weapon

Wonder Weapon: A very old weapon known as the thundergun has been upgraded for use in the future. Instead of firing one huge burst it fires small concentrated waves. The field of effect is decreased but range is increased and ammo is also increased in the clip and the reserve. The weapon now resembles a Rifle instead of a huge round gun

New Perk: Barric-Aid Lemon-Aid

Effect: When you slide it created a temporary Barricade made from crystals behind you. The crystals rise from the ground and block the undead that are right behind you. It is useful when the undead are too close for comfort and you would like to slow them down just enough to get out of their reach. The undead will not stop to break the crystal, it breaks by itself but they will stop and change direction to walk around it buying you time.

Cool idea, although the Creepers sound like something that could be very annoying. :P And I'm getting a very Exodus feeling from Extinction with this concept.
