This is the second thread now that has gone off-topic in relation to what certain members find OK and not OK to discuss without giving away spoilers and it will definitely be the last. It is simple. If you don't want spoilers then don't click on the threads. I don't want to hear any excuses anymore because if you choose to read an achievement or cutscene thread then you are going to get spoilers and any complaints regarding such are quite simply childish and petty.

 

You people are sitting on a zombies forum. Even if you choose not read the threads in question or any that can pertain to have spoilers within, you are still almost definitely going to hear about the spoilers in other threads, chat or outside of the forum so this is where we draw a line under this topic once and for all. If you have any concerns regarding what is a spoiler and what is not then either voice it in the link below or report it. Do NOT discuss it in length in these threads anymore. Thanks.

We know this map takes place in the 1940's. But can anyone see if anywhere in the cutscene it gives an actual date? If it's pre 1945 then this map is confusing as hell to place but if it's during or after 1945 then things will start to make sense a little. 

 

I could be wrong but I couldn't find any dates on any of the trailers only from the detective clip which is below , the latest date looks like 1942

This has the Date - "Friday April, 10". Which only occurred in 1942. (funnily enough, that date occurred this year too)

 

I assume that is the fight in which he uses the Knuckle Dusters & Sins.

 

 

Interesting that anything before 1945ish is before Verruckt had taken place.

(We play there September 10th, 1945. Same date as the 2nd Call of the Dead radio)

April 10th was also the day after the teaser for black ops 3 was uploaded. 

Which I believe is when the second round of "Dr.Salem" snap-chats came about.

The MPD was discovered 1940 by richtofen

2 Years Later in 1942. Griffon Station was completed and Scientists began experimenting on the MPD

The MPD has been Disturbed

Possible that the MPD is no longer Pure?

Would explain the Change crom red eyes to Yellow eyes before samantha

The poster is shown when the boxer is prepping and also you can see it next to a zombie so I think its safe to say that the year is 1942

Shadows of Evil might be set in a 1942 version of the city, but it could still be taking place after 1945. Much like how MotD is set in 1933 Alcatraz, but we also get the impression time has gone on while they are stuck in the loop since we hear Stanley Ferguson's recording from the year 1942. So it might be that the SoE characters are stuck in a loop like the MotD characters where time has continued without them. So they might have started the loop cycle with red eyes, then after redoing the loop over and over for 3 years, Sam took over while they were there and the eyes became yellow. The year could be 1999 for all we know.

Not saying any of this is the case but the year the map is set in and the actual year we are supposed to be playing them in could very easily be different based on MotD. We might find out during or after the EE that this map, the specific loop we are playing the characters in, takes place at the same time as Call of the Dead.
