Preload dlc 1

Anyone been able to preload dlc 1 with season pass?  I just logged on and played a match and then decided to change my ps4 clock to tomorrow just to check and hope it would work  and then restarted the console and got hit with a 9 gb update file for call of duty? Don't know if clock had anything to do with it but none the less had to download 9 gigs more for the game!   Just a huge update or is this the dlc?

It's both. The new way of getting the DLC is downloading an update mandatory for everyone, if you get the DLC or not. When the DLC is released at 5:00AM EST tomorrow, you can gain access to the DLC, which, luckily, is already downloaded.
