According to a Reddit post, there seems to be a dog that you can call in just like in the multiplayer specialist ability.  This will most likely have huge Easter Egg implications.

 

Here is what I would like to see from this revelation.

1. Using the dog to revive - This would be a game changer!  Just imagine, you are surrounded by the undead and can't really stop what you are doing to go run and save a downed companion.  Like the Saint Bernard carrying a whisky barrel, this specialist option can be the downed players savior.
2. The replacement of the retriever seems like a possible plot change.  The dog could be sent out to retrieve perks, power-ups, or even  weapon ammo.  This would be cool as hell!
3. Zombie Killing Machine!

Let me know what you think about this dog in action.  Kind of reminiscent of the Maxis Drone.

Though I have to say I'd feel kinda bad for the dog to just bite into rotten flesh.  haha

Ah yes... The infamous Fluffy.  Nothing would amaze me.  Even if it isn't, you know the community would surmise that it is and call it Fluffy anyway.

This reminds me of the rumor about the horse in TranZit. What a time that was...

 

And I'm all for more companions like Arthur in Buried or the Civil Protector. Actually something of a combination between those two would be awesome.

I am unable to check reddit right now, but it was said that the same person accurately leaked the WWII DLC 4.  So they consider the source itself somewhat reputable.  As always, though, rumor has it that rumors are dangerous. 

I would guess, that a good bit of information has been mined by data miners and maybe a few internal leaks on purpose to get the community talking.  I never understood the intentional leak.  I mean, I get why they would do it, but don't understand the face value of them trying to be secretive.  The same source also is talking about the Verrukt map in Blackout having zombies in it.  I don't know about that but it would be kinda cool.

Just for clarity it was a BUILDABLE horse in tranzit. Truly the golden age.
