Working through the SOE game files.
Noticed the inclusion of:

Notice on the MOTD map how the bottom x-axis  is placed "incorrectly" (does not line up with the grid squares)
This same axis is missing from the Origins map. And it is the top where the offset is wrong.
Seems to imply the Origins axis read as if flipped in the x axis? (bottom left corner motd becomes top left corner origins) (x: a,b,c,d,e,f,g y:  4,3,2,1 top to bottom)
Or even more simply, the offset is there to show that generators 1,2,6 would be in different grid squares to how they appear initially.
If the x axis is adjusted in the Origins map to fix the grid squares so the top left axis overlap is fixed it will provide different values.

In many of the interviews I've watched recently with JB he constantly hammers home how they expected players to dig through ever single map file and still not understand what they're seeing.
Not to mention the Origins map on the floor of Samantha's Room.
If this is related to something we've already solved lmk. Otherwise I'll update this thread tomorrow once I have a crack at some possible results.

Below are the other map textures from SoE just so they're all in one place.

I'm afraid I do not follow you here. Mind to explain a bit more clearly (for a non-english person)?

Of course no problem!
Notice the top x-axis lines up with the dotted grid.

And the bottom axis does not

Which is similar to this axis on the Origins map. Where they also do not line up correctly. You can measure the two top segments of the y-axis and notice the top one is too small.
