First part of a trilogy of Zombie Map ideas I felt like creating. Inspired by @clueless and @The Meh with their wonderful map concepts, and also @NotAnAn0n with his upcoming Zombies ideas. Starting with the smallest map. Enjoy!

Backstory & general map information

The closed city of Sverdlovsk had been a major production center of the Soviet military-industrial complex since World War II. A new biological weapon R&D facility was built after the war, using documentation captured in Manchuria from the Japanese Unit 731 (it's real, see Wikipedia). In 1979, a major chemical leak occurred, sometimes referred to as the 'chemical Chernobyl', which included a variety of pathogens acquired from Unit 731, most notably antrax. One compound in particular, an unknown heavy metal isotope, was spreading through the scarcely populated rural areas around Sverdlovsk, contaminating both water and soil.

'Dacha' is set in and around a Datcha, a typical rural cottage very common in Russia. It takes place right after the Sverdlovsk leak. It is a small survival map qualifying both for starters that are new to Zombies as well as for veteran players that try to reach a new high score. It has no Main Easter Egg quest.

The Sverdlovsk leak incident occurred in the Spring, meaning Datcha takes place in the 'Rasputitsa': the Russian term for the 'mud season'. Most snow had melted, leaving a marshy environment without mud pools here andere there slowing down the player's movement (similar to No Man's Land and Origins).

Map layout

The Spawn Room is the Datcha itself, with both a lower and upper floor. Of all maps this room resembles Gröesten Haus the most, including a basic living room, small kitchen and bedrooms. Very close quarter, recommended to leave as soon as possible but fun for 'first room challenges'.

Upon opening the outside door, you will find yourself in a remote, barren birch forest. Despite it being outside, there is still little open space, with areas blocked by fences and trees. On one side the map's boundary is a small vegetable garden, the other side is a river that is partly accessible (same effect as Tag der Toten freezing water effect). With the entire area surrounded by a birch forest, one part has open access to a cornfield. No Denizens this time, but the cornfield narrows your sight and slows your movement. Within the cornfield, there is a small shed.

Inside this barn, there is a wallbuy for the DIY 11 Renovator and the Sickle. There is also a building table, where you can build a (rudimentary) WünderFizz Orb machine. This requires four parts:

- The standard: Can be found hidden in the cornfield

- The antenna: Can be found in the vegetable garden. Has to be shot off the Datcha's roof first

- Element 115: Can be found in the river. Note that it is 115 in a jerrycan rather the usual rock that is used in a WünderFizz machine
