Aether portal not spawning

Hi,

Researched some of the walk-throughs.  I can't get the Aether portal to spawn after the PAP to find the aether scope parts.  Killed the green man (sometimes twice).  Went as far as the D.I.E. Machine.  The aether portals do not spawn again to go get the aetherscope parts.  Please help.

Just an update that this was resolved: Player 2 in the lobby never picked up the Aetherscope after building it so Aether Portals weren't spawning in-game
