Competitive Zombies?

Will/is there any sort of competitive zombies tournaments? I know some local gaming places that used to host zombies tournaments for cash prizes which was pretty cool. Unfortunately they closed down and it's gone now. Was wondering if there's any of that online?

Hey @quinn25, welcome to the Forums! As for an online tournament, I don't know, but I know there is the Zombies World Championship (ZWC) of which our friend @InfestLithium may provide you additional information, may you be interested.

I wish Activision took more time on Zombies like they used to. It's pretty cool that they got this storyline going, but I feel like creating a competitive aspect to it might make things lively again. It seems like it's been gameplay < storytelling. But that's my take on it.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. ZWC3 online qualifier is over but that's the best scene for online Zombies tournaments. They used to host bi-weekly tournaments leading into the main tournament, and would probably do it again if there's enough support/demand for it.
